Positioning Strategic Assets
Supporting and Strengthening our Community Resources
A community is made up of unique and culturally significant community assets. The health and preservation of those assets is important in preserving a common shared experience that strengthens that community. We believe that the success of our community depends on the strength of its partners – those institutions that contribute to making a thriving, livable community. We are committed to their success.
The Foundation has identified several key outcomes that guide our grant making in positioning our community’s strategic assets:
- Birmingham’s key civic, health and educational partners are strong contributors to the vibrancy of our city.
- These key partners are readily accessible and available to all Birmingham metro residents.
