A grant of $250,000 to support this award-winning urban park. Railroad Park has been a major catalyst for development in downtown Birmingham. The grant will be used to develop sustainable income streams to support this important draw for downtown.

Wild South

A grant of $30,000 over two years. Wild South’s volunteer programs work to engage communities in hands-on stewardship activities that protect natural resources and provide connection to the outdoors. The grant will be used to recruit and train dedicated leader volunteers to become stewards of Ruffner Mountain and Turkey Creek Nature Preserves.

The Nature Conservancy
